The Mission Bambini team screened more than 30 patients, and performed 10 successful heart surgeries for patients in need.

The mission also served to provide training to the team of local doctors and nurses working alongside the Italian volunteers. The Mission Bambini doctors also presented a training lecture on the pathophysiology of congenital heart disease.
