Twice a year, a medical mission reaches out to remote areas of the Phillipines, providing vital care to thousands of people living in extremely poor communities across the mountainous San Teodoro region. Made possible by Corratec Charity Mission of Germany and donated Skywards Miles from Emirates passengers, the latest mission accomplished by volunteer Dr. Lambert Weber to this region was accomplished in November 2011.

Travelling to numerous rural clinics, Dr. Weber treated a wide range of ailments, such as infections, parasites, wounds and even more serious conditions such as tumours and congenital malformations. In addition to providing care, Dr. Weber also delivered lectures to local medical staff, helping to expand their medical knowledge and ensure on-going improvements to healthcare in the region.
