Charities your Miles benefit

The foundation uses your donated Skywards Miles to extend complimentary airfare to a number of healthcare charities. Some of the charity organisations that have benefited so far in 2010-2011 are:

1. Take Heart – Cleveland, USA to Tanzania for Cardiac Surgical Care.

2. Outreach to Africa – Los Angeles to Uganda – Healthcare.

3. Smile Train Italy – Italy to Dhaka for Surgical care on the Emirates Friendship Hospital Ship.

4. ORBIS – Tickets for doctors to fly to their flying hospital in Jakarta.

5. Australian Doctors for Africa (ADFA) – to Ethiopia for Surgical Care.

6. Correctec Charity – Munich to Manila for Children’s healthcare.

7. The Dhaka Project – flew children to Dubai for education.

8. Children First Foundation - flew children from various Emirates cities to Melbourne for long term health care.

9. Healthcare Volunteers - USA/Europe/UK to DAR to children's healthcare.

10.Operation Smile, USA - flew medical staff to Surin, Thailand and DR Congo for healthcare.

11.Athletes for Africa - flew a team from the US to Johannesburg for healthcare and sports care.

12.Projects Abroad UK - USA/Australia/Switzerland,UK/Canada to Tanzania for a clean water project.

13.VSO UK - UK to Uganda for healthcare.

14.Engineers without Borders - Berlin Chapter - Germany to Uganda, Sao Paulo and Senegal for clean water and solar electric power construction.

15.Connecticut, USA Hospice - sent healthcare volunteers to Tanzania.

16.West Midlands Fire Service ISAR - UK to Tanzania for Orphanage refurbishment.

17.UK Disaster relief team to Japan for flood relief assistance.

18.Emirates Friendship Hospital Ship - sent volunteer doctors from France, Holland and Germany to Dhaka, thence via seaplane to the hospital ship for surgical care.
